Rectangular Trampolines

Rectangle trampolines (sometimes called Olympic Trampolines) are commonly used in schools, trampoline classes, gymnastic classes and of course in the Olympics.

Their large surface area makes them better for jumping on, which is one of the reasons they are used in gymnastics. Rectangle trampolines are constructed from higher quality materials in comparison to outdoor oval, round or square trampolines, usually the trampoline frames are constructed from high gauge steel tubing, the mat/bed is made from a permatron material and the trampoline padding is made from thicker polyethylene foam for increased safety, finally, better quality springs are used on a rectangular trampoline.

For a standard outdoor rectangle trampoline with enclosure you can expect to pay $550 to $1,500. However for an Olympic regulation trampoline you can expect to pay $1,600 to $2,700 and remember that a regulation rectangle trampoline will not include a safety enclosure.
