What is a trampoline Ladder

A trampoline ladder is designed to assist a user onto the trampoline, the ladders fit onto outdoor garden trampolines. The ladder is designed to hook onto the trampoline frame (the hook is then covered by the trampoline mat) and can be easily removed, no bolts, screws or clips are needed to secure the ladder to the trampoline.

Trampoline ladders have steel frames that have been UV treated to help prevent them from rusting. The ladder steps are either made from plastic, steel or sometimes rubber.

Do I need a ladder for my trampoline

Safety is always the most important factor when it comes to outdoor trampolines, if you have young children who are always climbing up onto the trampoline then please consider purchasing a ladder.

Remember to consider the following before making a purchase:

• The size of the ladder – this may seem obvious but make sure you purchase the correct size ladder, if you are unsure the ladder will fit your brand of trampoline then consult the supplier before making a purchase.
• Non slip ladder – always purchase a ladder that is non slip (typically on ladders with plastic or rubber steps) this will ensure children stay safe whilst climbing on the ladder.
• Maximum weight – find out the maximum weight the ladder can take. From my own personal research I have found that a lot of suppliers do not supply this information

How much can I expect to pay

The good news is trampoline ladders are very cheap in comparison to the trampoline itself. From my own research I have found the starting price at around £8 up to £65 of course for the non slip ladders you typically pay £25 upwards (but well worth it in my opinion).
